India aspired, foreseen and demanded a change. And, CHANGE it is! It's a win for Indians. The power of voting is hence proved! Nothing can describe it better than the Google doodle today.
The delusional dynasty politics comes to an end! Just saw Mrs. Sonia Gandhi (Congress President) video accepting the voters decision and Mr. Rahul Gandhi smiling as he stands besides his mother. That shows Congress has still not learnt lessons from the defeat. A lot of introspection and surgical restructuring is required at Congress end. There is a major flaw in the Congress leadership. Lack of sincerity and commitment is yet again revealed! Congress party members blame the marketing strategy of BJP for the huge debacle.
What went wrong for Congress and how BJP emerged -
Product- Strategically placed BJP election campaign won the battle. Modi time and again stated and promised development and infrastructure as the major agendas. Whereas Congress never had an agenda, but was busy in counter attacking Modi. Congress on the other side is on a decline life cycle, where a lot of restructuring at the state as well as the centre is required. It lacks innovation and sticks to dynasty rule with the same over the years manifesto. The voters have given ample chances to Congress to come up strongly. But they failed. Whereas BJP is still in it's growth stage. It's constantly innovating, differentiating and rebuilding. It put one of the best person forward even though Mr. Advani had to step down. Congress needs to understand that just 'a Gandhi surname' cannot win elections and be PM. Indian voters are intelligent and well versed.
Price- There is always a constant comparison between the competitors. That's the basic rule. Congress when in reign has pulled off a lot of corruption, scams and inappropriate leadership. A very learned man Mr. Manmohan Singh has been a puppet in the hands of Gandhi's. People always compare the value of the product when they buy it in the market. The value should always surpass the price for satisfying consumers. But in the Congress reign every one condemned the price they paid for electing a wrong governance with muted leadership. India has valued and evalued Modi and elected him for the tenure.
Place- Quote from BBC 'It is the first time in the history of the country that the youth is more excited about 16 May than 14 February'. India has been bogged down by the messy political leadership and lack of vision. In the last decade if we look back, on many issues we as Inidans have raised our voices. Voices that don't fade away, voices that are heard and responded to. This collectively was our voice for change.
Promotion- Modi emerged as a brand. You can ask even a kid, and he will say Namo Namo. A rage happened with slogans 'Ab ki baar Modi sarkar'. This is a victory of an individual where the party stature is smaller than the person himself. He has grown far beyond the political party he represents. That's the power of Modi-fied!
It all concluded in a landslide for Congress as everyone calls! And, a vindicated win for BJP! Sensex boasts as well as India celebrates. A warm welcome to Mr.PM. As we wait for the promises to be complied with.
With a lot of hope,

What went wrong for Congress and how BJP emerged -
- Congress marketing portfolio of projecting Mr. Rahul as 'youth leader' went for a toss.
- The belief - Mr. Modi has proved it in Gujarat and hence has the metal to do it again.
- Congress pays a cost for anti marketing for BJP especially projecting Mr. Modi as communal.
- Question- What significant contribution has Mr. Rahul Gandhi given in his last 10 years of political life?
- Modi the dynamic leader v/s Rahul 'the one is making for a flop show'.
- Did we see Rahul growing in the last so many years? Answer - NO!
- Differences in personality! It's not the age of the leader that defines the youth votes. Young India believes in 'the doers' and not 'the dreamers'!
- People wanted a change from dynasty politics.
- A much desired break from all the scams in the last decade.
- It was never Congress v/s BJP. The equation changed to Mr. Gandhi v/s Mr. Modi.
- If marketing terminologies have to be used then India voted for the high quality leadership, polished persona and the doer who does what he says compared to the kid who has been forced into it with no vision and lack of perspective. Politics works on the same concept as supplementary goods. People generally vote against a person more often than in favour of another. Here the big victory for BJP is crowned as both against Congress plus in favour of Mr. Modi.
- If it was all about marketing then how do we define the 4 P's of BJP.
