Sunshine!!!

A bright new sunshine

I am basking in the sun

With rays of hope and warmth

I stretch out my arms

Eyes twinkling small

I see the world around

Away from the mad rush

It seems so calm

As the Sun rises

Darkness hide

The demons of the night

Losing their ground

Morning rituals start

Welcoming yet another day

The magic of nature so benevolent

I thank you God

For bestowing in my life
